How these numbers are made
We compare 2,502 live listings from 41 US retail vendors across 79 compounds. We sell nothing, ship nothing, and hold no inventory. Everything below is how the figures are produced and where we refuse to produce one.
Where the prices come from
Every price is read directly from the vendor's own store through its public product API — the same data their website renders for a shopper. Nothing is retyped from a screenshot, scraped from a competitor, or supplied by the vendor.
Each reading is stored immutably with the time it was taken. We never update a price in place; a new reading is a new record. That is what makes a price history possible and what stops a mistake from quietly overwriting the truth.
The whole catalogue is re-read nightly. Every figure on the site carries the time it was last checked, and a listing that stops appearing drops off within 48 hours rather than lingering as a price nobody can still buy.
How cost per milligram is calculated
Cart price divided by total milligrams in the package — vial size multiplied by vial count. A 10mg vial at $25 is $2.50/mg. A ten-pack of 10mg vials at $180 is $1.80/mg. Presented side by side, those two are finally comparable, which is the entire point.
Shipping is not included. It varies by destination and basket and would make the comparison less honest, not more.
We rank single vials and multi-vial packs separately. The cheapest way to try a compound and the cheapest way to keep buying it are different questions with routinely different answers, and blending them into one ranking answers neither.
What we refuse to publish
Blends get no cost per milligram. Dividing one price across several different molecules produces a number that describes nothing. Blends are listed at total price only.
Capsules, nasal sprays and pre-mixed liquids are excluded from vial rankings. A capsule's milligram is not a vial's milligram, and ranking them together produced figures that were wrong by orders of magnitude.
A listing we cannot identify with confidence is dropped, not guessed. Vendors increasingly rename compounds — coded names, abbreviations, house branding. We resolve identity through the product name, then CAS number, molecular formula, and learned vendor codes corroborated across independent vendors. Below a confidence threshold the listing is withheld entirely.
A dose we cannot read is not estimated. If the vial size is ambiguous, no cost per milligram is published for that listing. A missing number means we would not stand behind it.
Which vendors are included
All 41 were checked by hand against their own websites, not by pattern matching. Inclusion requires evidence of US retail operation on the vendor's own site: a street address, a US phone number, a US jurisdiction clause, or shipping stated as US-only. That evidence is recorded per vendor.
We exclude wholesalers — a vendor selling only multi-vial cases, where no single unit is purchasable, is not retail however good its per-milligram figure looks. We exclude vendors whose own pages indicate they operate outside the US, and vendors with no discoverable business identity at all.
This was not done by automation for a reason. Pattern matching was wrong in both directions during our own testing: it flagged a Sarasota, Florida company as Polish because of a language selector, and missed a Hong Kong operation entirely because the page never used the word.
How we make money
Some outbound links earn a commission. Every one of them is labelled on the row it appears in, not buried in a footer.
Ranking sorts on price alone. Commission has no influence on order, inclusion, or presentation, and there is no paid placement of any kind. A vendor who pays us nothing and undercuts everyone appears first, because that is the only version of this site worth building.
We are not a vendor, a pharmacy, or a lab. We do not test purity, verify certificates, or vouch for anyone. Where a vendor publishes a certificate we link to it and say who published it — nothing more.
What we do not know
We do not test what is in the vial. Independent testing is published by laboratories who do that work properly, and we are not one of them.
We cannot see a vendor's stock beyond what their store reports, nor how quickly they ship, nor how they handle a problem order.
Prices change between our reading and your visit. Every figure carries its timestamp for that reason — confirm on the vendor's own site before buying.
